Data Policy
It goes without saying that we comply with the statutory provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations.
The subject of data protection is personal data. According to Section 3 (1) BDSG, this is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number or your IP address.
Contact and newsletter
To contact us or register for the newsletter, we need your e-mail address and, if necessary, other details. We only use this information internally and do not pass it on to third parties. This information is transmitted unencrypted.
Server log files
The following data is stored each time a page is accessed: The date and time the page was accessed, the page accessed or the name of the file accessed, the amount of data transferred and a message as to whether the access/retrieval was successful. This data may be used for statistical purposes. It is not possible to assign the data to a natural person.
Cookies
We use cookies to collect and store data. Cookies are small data packets that your browser stores on your end device at our instigation. Two types of cookies are used. Temporary cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Persistent cookies, on the other hand, have a maximum lifespan of up to one month. This type of cookie enables you to be recognised when you return to the website after leaving it. This is used, for example, by the ‘stay logged in’ function. You can refuse to accept cookies in your browser settings.
Right to information and cancellation
You can obtain information about your data stored by us free of charge at any time without giving reasons. You can have your data collected by us corrected or deleted at any time.
